To realize this goal, we are looking for creative and capable intermediate cloud software engineer to lead and build modern automation tools to streamline our engineering processes.
In this position, you will have an opportunity to collaborate with internal users, analyze their use cases, requirements, and expectations, lead and develop scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud-based software solutions to remove inefficiencies, pain points, and enable the users to deliver faster and more.
This opportunity allows you to interact with senior/principal software engineers across the company to define our company software future direction and long-term strategy, technology selection, and you will make big impact to our business success.
This opportunity also requires your influence, mentorship, and guideline for junior software engineers, optimize their code quality, improve their code security, and guide them follow SDLC best practice and help them grow.
We are seeking Intermediate Cloud Software Engineer who:
- Has proven experience building reliable, secure, and scalable software solutions using modern cloud-based paradigms.
- Knows how to iterate and evolve a software solution with new learned technologies while carefully balancing the needs of privacy, security, and reliability.
- The ability to write high-quality, efficient, and easily testable code.
- The ability to contribute in all phases of software development lifecycle.
- Manages source control, CI/CD pipelines and new features/products release.
- Participates in high impact project initiatives, sprint planning, removal of roadblocks and ensure on-time delivery with quality.
- Is willing to review code, provide feedback to ensure best practices.
- Is willing to commit to ongoing training on key topics like privacy, compliance, and security.
- Is willing to join on call rotation to triage production software issues and recover services quickly.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor's/ MS Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline or equivalent years of experience
- Demonstrated working knowledge translating a business requirement to a functional design, development, testing and implementation.
- Excellent teamwork and time management skills with the ability to work well under pressure, meet set deadlines, complete tasks with minimal supervision and complete overlapping projects.
- 3+ years of coding experience building production quality software in a team setting is a must.
- 2+ years of experience building cloud apps (UX and/or backend) with programming languages like .NET, Java, Node.js, React is a must.
- 2+ years of experience with RESTful APIs to support API-driven services for system-to-system usage.
- Strong experience on modern cloud-native platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Strong hands-on on DevOps tools such as GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps experience is a big plus.
- Prior work with Azure Platform including Azure Web Apps, Azure Storage account, SQL Database, Service Bus, Microservice is a plus.
- Prior work with Azure Kubernetes Service, containerized application development is a plus.
- Knowledge of Azure Networking, Azure Firewall, Azure Key Vault, etc. related Azure Security is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in implementation & securing platforms/services in one or more public clouds (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Self-starter with proven ability to develop creative solutions that enable customers and cost efficiency
- Interest and ability to research new and emerging technologies to better solve cloud infrastructure problems or improve security posture
- Certifications in Cloud/Network/Security (such as Azure AZ500, AZ700, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Fortinet NSE 3-6, Palo Alto PCNSE, etc.)

- The base pay for this position is $94,000 to $153,000. The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target. Pay is based on several factors including location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles are eligible for additional compensation such as incentive pay and stock options.
