Truveta was born in the Pacific Northwest, but we have employees who live across the country. Our team enjoys the flexibility of a hybrid model and working from anywhere. In person attendance is required for two weeks during the year for Truveta Planning Weeks.

For overall team productivity, we optimize meeting hours in the pacific time zone. We avoid scheduling recurring meetings that start after 3pm PT, however, ad hoc meetings occur between 8am-6pm Pacific time.

This Opportunity

Are you excited by the idea of empowering our customers by extracting valuable insights from clinical notes? Do you enjoy designing and building new systems from the ground-up? Are you passionate about creating designs that are efficient, scalable and maintainable?

We’re looking for experienced software engineers to help us build our clinical notes infrastructure and deliver a critical part of the Truveta vision. We’re Seeking Engineers Who

  • Experience with optimizing backend systems for high scalability, availability, and performance. Identify and address potential bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve system efficiency. Monitor and analyze system performance using appropriate tools and technologies. 
  • Will collaborate with other engineers, product designers and the company leadership to build  tools required for machine learning. 
  • Experience supporting ML models development on big data infrastructure
  • Has knowledge and experience in using and designing distributed systems, data pipelines, APIs and consumption experiences
  • Are quick learners and can demonstrate the ability trade-off optimization, complexity and time to ship
  • Strict adherence to Truveta principles in support of ethical innovation
  • Willingness to commit to ongoing training on key topics like privacy, ethics, and security

Key Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience building production quality software in a team setting
  • Hands-on experience with designing and developing scalable, distributed systems using cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Web development experience using React and Typescript.  We also use Mobx, Redux, Material UI on our web stack.
  • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related field

  • The base pay for this position is $152,000 to $205,000. The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target. Pay is based on several factors including location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles are eligible for additional compensation such as incentive pay and stock options.
