The Role
The Integration Process Manager will report to the Robotics System Integration Manager and be responsible for coordinating system integration activities for the Outrider System and sustainment activities for the Software organization. This position requires a background in driving and tracking activities around testing and troubleshooting complex hardware / software systems, and an eagerness to work in a rapidly-changing environment and prioritize efforts.

Outrider’s fully electric, SaaS-based autonomous trucking solution relies on industrial-grade, ruggedized robotic software to enable a massively scalable fleet and reliable, round-the-clock operation. This role is ideal for someone who wants to push confined-area, heavy-vehicle autonomy into hardened, high-volume production with minimal software-derived service interruptions.

Software sustainment is a pivotal function enabling a safety-critical system for industrial automation. This opportunity offers a well-rounded, hands-on technical lead the chance to help refine a market-leading, enterprise-grade product that combines autonomous trucking technologies with a software-as-a-service (SaaS) business model.

Duties & Responsibilities

    • Coordinate and track integration activities for The Outrider System
    • Gain consensus on success criteria for a given integration period
    • Help define process for integration test-fix cycles
    • Coordinate across teams, including hardware, software, system safety, and test to drive test-fix cycles on system behavior and performance
    • Work with integration team to coordinate sustaining software development activities for all software functions of the system

Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in robotics, computer science, software engineering, electrical engineering, or a related discipline
    • 3+ years of industry experience in developing enabling technologies for robotic systems
    • Demonstrated experience developing software complex software systems
    • Successful track record in full-lifecycle software development
    • Demonstrated pedigree of troubleshooting large, complex systems composed of hardware and software
    • Comfort with collaboratively working with multiple teams (e.g., software, hardware, systems, functional safety, test) to identify, understand, and resolve system issues
    • Ability to troubleshoot C and C++ source codeFamiliarity ROS
    • Experience with Jira, Git, or similar tools
    • Excellent written and verbal communications; ability to explain complex concepts to colleagues across disciplines

Compensation & Benefits

    • Salary range of $110,000 - $150,000

Actual compensation is based on several factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, qualifications, experience, and specific work location due to differences in the cost of labor. In addition to a base salary, this role is also eligible for benefits, and equity bonus.
