About the role:
12-14 week paid internship that offers an opportunity to work on complex computer science solutions, develop scalable, distributed software systems, and collaborate on machine learning related projects.
What you'll be working on:
- Becoming familiar with your teams’ specific goals and challenges.
- Doing research on computational agriculture related topics, including machine learning, genomics, computer vision, natural language processing, geographic information system, knowledge graph, multi-modality learning, or remote sensing.
- Engaging with the Mineral Internship community during the program.
- Having fun!
What you should have:
- Enrolled in a PhD degree in Computer Science, or similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience.
- Coding skills for research projects.
- Deep knowledge in computational agriculture related topics, such as machine learning, computer vision, etc.
It would be great if you also had these:
- Experience with JAX, TensorFlow, Keras.
- Related publications in related venues, e.g., CVPR, ICML, NeurIPS, ICLR, and ICCV.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $103,000 - $127,000 + benefits. Your recruiter will share more about the specific salary range for your targeted location during the hiring process.
