We are looking for a Senior Accountant to become a key member of the Finance team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys finding new solutions, thrives in a fast paced environment, has a knack for detail, LOVES leveraging technology to work efficiently, and wants to expand to new areas of corporate accounting. You will report to the Director of Accounting and Finance while closely collaborating with our Senior Accounting Manager.
About the role
- Owns all aspects of Accounts Payables (credit cards, reimbursements and vendor bills), and banking
- Performs month end close - transactions, reconciliations, journal entries and schedules
- Helps Accounting Manager prepare for the first year audit
- Assists with evaluating and implementing new tools and processes
- Ensures that our internal policies and communication are up to date
- Collaborates on various projects and ad-hoc reporting
Skills and Experience

- 4+ years of accounting experience, preferably in startups
- Solid understanding of GAAP. CPA or CPA candidate preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or other related fields
- External audit experience
- Intermediate user of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheet
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks and Accounts Payable software such as Airbase
- Strong and proactive communicator that can collaborate effectively with various stakeholders
- System savvy and able to troubleshoot systems independently
- Problem solver with the ability to juggle various priorities
Salary Band
Base Pay: $130,500 - $145,000
